Value for the delegate
- Very often, it is a single presentation or speech that defines the visible success of your goals. To guarantee that your audience receives your messages in the way that you them to be understood, we show you how to send these messages! It is a skill that requires a little practice. Thankfully, not as much as your chosen profession!
- Information overload is a 20th century reality that we must all deal with. A good presentation helps the audience with clear messages, logic and rationale for decision making.
- Speaker training gives you personal support and feedback. You will have the opportunity to practice presenting complex messages , with techniques that allow you to see the difference!
What is important for a speaker in the medical environment? It is important that your audience takes something away – some value from what you have said. Maybe this is the clarification of questions that they have had, the validation of opinions they have held, or orientation in new methods of diagnosis and prescription, or motivation to test ways and means of treatments that have until now been not widely practiced.
Whatever the goal, for the audience, the message must be clear, concise, understandable, rational and useable.
To learn how to transmit messages according to best practice methods will give you a platform for self reflection, and a way to increase your own certainty that you are doing this job as well as your functional job as a medical practitioner, in front of small groups or large coference audiences.
